Congratulations Camilla and Kevin!

Congratulations to Camilla, who married fiancé Kevin Sacre last Wednesday, in the beautiful Ibiza.
Camilla wore a beautiful, simple floor length white dress, very different to what we're all used to seeing her wearing on Strictly! She looked completely stunning, as always, and Kevin looked great too!

We all want to wish Kevin and Camilla the happiness they deserve, and hope they have an amazing life together! Both of them are amazing people, who should have everything they wish for! Congratulations both of you! I hope it really was the best day of your life!

Well, the CFA is well and truly into exam season now! All of us seem to have a pile of exams, and an even bigger pile of revision. And it doesn't seem to be getting any smaller!
With so many exams, the CFA has gone fairly quiet over the last couple of months, though it should liven up a little come June, when exams are over, and it's SUMMER!!
We're all hoping to get plenty of meet-ups in the summer in various parts of the country, as most of us have an extended summer, and haven't seen each other in months, so it's the perfect opportunity!
We all really want to go to a Camilla dance event over this summer, but as yet it looks as though that will just have to stay as a dream! Camilla seems to be too busy planning her wedding to Kevin (We can't wait to see pictures!!) and of course her partner Ian Waite is off doing the professional tour! Ah well, we can all have our dreams!!
Anyway, that's all for now, just thought I would pop on and let everybody know that the CFA are still alive, just revising, oh the joy!!

Happy Birthday Camilla!

Well, today is the 6th of April, otherwise known as Camilla's birthday! Just a quick post from the CFA to say we hope she has had an AMAZING day, and eaten nothing other than Cake, jelly and ice cream! Because that is all you should eat on your birthday!
Gemma, Emma and Ruth had a CFA meet up over the weekend, and made Camilla some lovely Birthday creme egg muffins! (Unfortunately they had to gobble them all up themselves! Oh what a shame! )
They may look just like normal muffins, but they have secret creme eggs inside!! Yummy!!

Emma: Dear Camilla,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! We had quite a bit of sunshine here in the (generally wet, cold and downright miserable) West Midlands so I hope that you received some too - and even more so since you had a cold today, which is the worst luck. I'd offer you one of our Creme Egg muffins to cheer you up but unfortunately they seem to have disappeared... hmm. Odd that. Instead, I'll have to make do with sending you lots of love and hoping that Kevin's bought you a massive cake to make up for the lack of our muffins, which I can imagine you would've been very disappointed about not getting; sorry about that. I'm not sure they'd have survived the journey if I'm honest, but you can stare at our Muffin Mountain and dream about our incredible baking talents

Hola and Welcome!!

Well hello! welcome to the official CFA blog, I'm not exactly very good at this sort of thing, I tend to ramble, Emma (SingDecani to those on twitter) would be much better, but as she is busy revising (or procrastinating, which is probably more likely!) you're stuck with me (with a little help from Hannah), though I shall try and rope her in for future blog posts, as she is a bit of a grammar queen. So yes, anyway, enough of that, moving on...

I'm sure that if you are on here, you are well aware of who the CFA are, however, for those of you who live under a rock (Not that there is anything wrong with living under a rock, I myself often feel as though I live under a rock, coming from far up in the North-east of l'Anglaterre and about a billion miles away from Camilla and the rest of the CFA!) the CFA stands for Camilla Fans Anonymous, we're a group of Camilla Dallerup fans, we all met through a mutual love of the amazing Camilla, who is a professional dancer, who took part in the first 6 series' of Strictly Come Dancing, and won the 6th, with partner Tom Chambers! We're all so grateful to Camilla because if it weren't for her, we wouldn't have all met and become such amazing friends! Anyway, here's a bit of a summary of us all!

Right, well, first up there is me! I'm Catherine/Catherino/'Rino or occasionally Flapjack, because according to Emma and Ruth, I have obsessive compulsive FJ disorder! As I've already said, I live far up in the North east, where Camilla never seems to venture (not that I blame her, the north isn't very exciting!) According to Hannah I have a "bold personality but a warm loving heart, Catherino is always up for anything. She is an absolute star and is sooo brainy we all know she will pass her GCSE’s with flying colours and make the CFA and Camilla (oh and her parents) very proud. She does always seem to be right actually…which is kinda annoying but funny She is a fab-u-lous person to be around and a real friend!"

Next up there's Emma/Ninja/Axe murderer (In fairness, I really don't know where the last two came from! Emma's lovely really!! ) As I've already said, she's very good with grammar and English! She's also quite possibly the funniest person ever! Talk to her for 5 minutes and you'll be in tears of laughter! She is SO amazing, and can always manage to cheer the CFA up if anyone is feeling down! On top of being amazingly clever and funny, she is also a FABULOUS present buyer! She got Ruth and I the best Christmas present ever! I shall go and see if I can find a picture somewhere...

Here we are!

Though obviously that one is Emma's, it would be a bit silly getting Ruth and I one that said Emma on! Aren't they fabulous!! And on the front they say "Dancing is escapism..." Our favourite Camilla quote, from her Magic of Dance DVD!

Right, next there is Ruth/Ruthus/Pirate or any variation derived from the word pirate! Poor little Ruth was so sweet and innocent before she co-formed the CFA, and she now holds the award for 'most corrupted mind since joining the CFA' Ruth's completely amazing, and I'm sure she has been on a train more in the past year, travelling to see various CFA-ers than she has the rest of her life! 5 hours on a train up north to see me, and 5 hours back! Ouch! What dedication!! Ruth is completely amazing, and has a heart of gold! She's a friend to anyone, and she's always there for anyone who needs her!

Then there is Gemma!! Who is completely amazing, and has met Camilla about a billion times! Gemma's so amazingly clever! She lives at the complete opposite end of the country to me, which is just plain awkward! with her living in the south-west, and me in the north east, CFA meet ups are practically impossible! Gem's an absolute GOD to the CFA, after managing to get us all signed messages from Ian and CAMILLA!!!!! Gemma is so kind, and is always there to help out if you need her, and as the oldest and cleverest CFA-er, she's always there if we need help with revision or work, 'cause she's amazingly nice like that!

Last but not least there is Hannah-Spanner-the-supermarket-scanner (Yes, she will kill me for calling her that ) She's a little bit in love with Gethin Jones and Ian Waite, especially there derrières (). She wishes to marry Gethin, and is going to kill me when she reads this Woops! She's fallen over during a dance competition at Blackpool tower, and is the youngest member of the CFA!

Anyway, I'm assuming that anyone reading this has probably got heinously bored of my ramblings and given up a long time ago, for those of you who have made it this far, you should be very proud of yourself. You shall be rewarded.
So yes, to sum up, that's who we are! We all love each other very much, and we all love Camilla even more!!
Our absolute DREAM is for all of us to watch Camilla perform, and then for us all to meet her together! That would be amazing!
